Mr Michael Chai has been Mun Xin Sdn Bhd’s Executive Finance Director since 2006. He is one of the Co-Founder of Mun Xin Sdn Bhd.

 

Mr Michael Chai leads the Organization’s financial reporting, Treasury, Human Resources, Legal and Tax Functions.

 

Mr Michael Chai is age 58 years. He is a Fellow Member of The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, UK. He holds a Post Graduate Advance Diploma in Business Administration from University of Wales, UK. He is also a Chartered Accountant (Malaysia) and a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants.

 

He was the Assistant Vice President (International Operations) for Elken International Pte Ltd  based in KL. He was the Country Manager in Jakarta, Indonesia (2002), and, at a later stage appointed the Country Manager / Acting CEO for India (2003) based in Bangalore, India.

 

He also held the position of National Accounting Manager of F&N Coca Cola (M) Sdn Bhd from 1998 to 2002 based in Shah Alam, Malaysia.

 

In 1996 to 1998 he held the position of Divisional Finance Director in PT Mah Sing Indonesia, a Foreign Subsidiary of the MSGB Group of Companies based in Jakarta, Indonesia. 

 

He has served as Accounting Manager of the Sunright Group of Companies in Singapore from 1991-1993 and as Finance Manager of Hume Industries Berhad a member of The Hong Leong Group of Companies from 1988 – 1991.
